Day-by-Day Itinerary

The purpose of this itinerary is to provide you with a general idea of what your day might look like. Your actual day-by-day itinerary will be fully customized to suit your trip schedule and specific needs.

Day 1

Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Today, you’ll board your flight from the United States to Rome, Italy.

Day 2

Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival, you will go through customs and immigration. A representative will be waiting for you as you exit immigration to transfer you to your hotel.

Fight the jet lag and head out to explore Rome. A trip to the Trevi Fountain is a must – be sure to take three coins to throw in the fountain. The first guarantees your return to Rome, the second will ensure a new romance, and the third will ensure marriage.

Day 3

The Colosseum is one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, so we want you to make the most of it! We’ve included VIP full experience tickets which allow you access to the Arena Floor through the Gladiator’s gate, the Roman Forum and Palatine. What’s more, you’ll get to skip the lengthy queues, with more time left for you to marvel at this architectural wonder!

Tonight, we’ve included a pasta and tiramisu making class so you can try your hand at making your own Roman cuisine. Enjoy a delicious dinner with wine afterwards, sampling the tasty dishes you’ve made.

Day 4

Wake up early today and head for the Vatican. You may want to purchase a walking tour or ‘skip the line’ ticket to avoid the lengthy queues. Explore one of the world’s most extensive and beautiful art collections, in particular Michelangelo’s ‘Creation of Adam’ in the Sistine Chapel.

Vatican City is the world’s smallest country, so be sure to head to the post office and send a letter to your loved ones as a reminder of your trip.

Day 5

Head to Tuscany from Rome today, seeing the best of the captivating Val d’Orcia region close to Siena. You’ll discover rolling countryside and historic hill towns, as well as Tuscan farms that dot the landscape. Visit the wine towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino and enjoy time at leisure to explore Pienza. After a day of exploring, indulge in a locally produced 3-course meal on a Tuscan farm with regional wines to match.

Day 6

Spend your final day exploring the Capitoline Museums, three of the oldest in the world, which contain artifacts from the ancient Roman world. In the afternoon, check out some of Rome’s hidden gems such as the Baths of Diocletian, a bathhouse dating back to 300 A.D.

Afterwards, take a stroll down the Tiber River. Cross the river then and explore the local neighborhoods and backstreets in and around Piazza Navona and the Campo de Fiori (flower market). For dinner, there are lots of restaurants in the area and the bars and nightclubs stay crowded until long after midnight.

Your last day in Rome

Sadly, your trip has come to an end. A representative will meet you at your hotel for your transfer to the airport.

Additional Days

Should you wish to add extra days to existing cities/destinations or add new destinations to your pre-designed package, you will be able to do so during the submission process. Note that this will incur additional planning fees per additional day at checkout. Your final package cost will also change depending on how many additional travel components are needed for the extra days.
