Day-by-Day Itinerary

The purpose of this itinerary is to provide you with a general idea of what your day might look like. Your actual day-by-day itinerary will be fully customized to suit your trip schedule and specific needs.

Day 1

Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Today, you’ll take your flight to Marrakech, Morocco. Upon arrival, you will go through customs and immigration. A representative will be waiting for you as you exit immigration to transfer you to your hotel.

Fight the jet lag and head out to explore Marrakech. Get a feeling for the true Marrakech with a visit to the ancient medina. The 1000-year old medina is a mix of souks and maze-like streets and offers an authentic insight into the Moroccan way of life. Listen out for shouts of “Balek! Balek!” – a warning for you to move over.

Day 2

Get up early today to visit Jardin Majorelle, a beautiful botanical garden owned and lovingly restored by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé.

This afternoon, experience a Moroccan spice market at Marrakech’s central square, Djemaa El Fna. Your local guide will teach you about exotic spices and flavors such as saffron, anise and cumin; you’ll watch buyers and sellers haggle at a meat market, plus you’ll taste Moroccan delicacies such as Berber pancakes and ghoulal. Finish your day with an authentic dinner surrounded by the sights, sounds, colors, peddlers and performers of Djemaa El Fna.

Day 3

Experience more of Morocco today with a day tour to the Agafay Desert. You’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to this desert oasis just outside of Marrakech. Soak up the stunning scenery as you journey through the High Atlas Mountains, explore local villages and visit a Berber souk.

Afterward, enjoy an adrenaline-pumping camel ride through the desert of Agafay. There’s plenty of opportunities for photos, so keep your camera close by. Back in Marrakech, head out for dinner and perhaps try a traditional tagine to end your time in the city.

Day 4

Enjoy breakfast in Marrakech, then head to the airport for your flight to Casablanca. Upon arrival in Casablanca, clear customs and immigrations and make your way to your hotel. If you’d like us to book a transfer for you, please just let us know.

After check-in, head straight for the city’s most iconic landmark, the Hassan II Mosque. This mosque, one of the largest in the world, is open to non-Muslims on guided tours and boasts stunning mosaic tilework and painted wood. Stroll the promenade then grab a seafood dinner with sunset views.

Day 5

Get up early today, as you’re off on a sightseeing tour of all of Casablanca’s highlights. You’ll get to know the city unlike other tourists as your guide provides an insight into the culture and history of the city. See Mahkama du Pacha, inaccessible without a guide, visit Rick’s Café from the Casablanca movie, and taste freshly baked bread as well as other culinary treats. This tour offers the perfect way to really get under the skin of Casablanca.

This evening, visit Sky 28 at the Kenzi Tower Hotel for a cocktails with stunning panoramic views of the city.

Day 6

Head downtown today to see the area’s architecture, including the tiled façade of the Grande Poste, the beautiful church of Sacre Coeur and the Parc de la Ligue Arabe.

Stop for lunch at the Quartier Gauthier in the Ville Nouvelle, then visit the nearby Villa des Arts to see contemporary artwork from Moroccan artists. Afterward, take a taxi to the ‘new medina’, Quartier Habous, built in the 1930s.

Finish your day shopping for souvenirs in the souks. Tonight, dine on gourmet Moroccan cuisine surrounded by stained-glass and chandeliers at the up-market Hôtel Le Doge’s Le Jasmine.

Day 7

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then, sadly, your trip has come to an end. A representative will be waiting at your hotel for your transfer to the airport.
