Day-by-Day Itinerary

Please note that the below sample itinerary is not representative of your final itinerary (unless you choose not to personalize it further). The purpose of this itinerary is to provide you with a general idea of what your day might look like. Your actual day-by-day itinerary will be fully customized to suit your trip schedule and specific needs.

Day 1

Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Today, you’ll board your flight from the United States to Paris, France.

Day 2

Welcome to Paris! Upon arrival, you will go through customs and immigration. A representative will be waiting for you as you exit immigration to transfer you to your hotel.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, then head out to explore the charming street-side cafes and patisseries the city has to offer. Make use of your (included) private guided tour of the city today, so that you can get to know Paris and be prepared for your next few days of exploring!

Day 3

Wake up early today to set out in search of Paris’ most famous landmarks, such as Saint-Chapelle, the Latin Quarter and the historic Sorbonne University, founded in 1257. Dining on the Avenue des Champs-Elysees, one of the most famous avenues in the world, is a must, or perhaps you’d prefer to grab lunch at the beautiful Café de Flore on Boulevard Saint-Germain.

In the afternoon, visit the world-renowned Louvre Museum to marvel at incredible works such as the Mona Lisa and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. As night falls, see the Eiffel Tower light up the night sky and maybe even take a twilight ride to the top, then check out the city’s incredible nightlife.

Day 4

On your final day in Paris, start by checking out the remaining Parisian sights – the Arc de Triomphe, Jardin des Tuileries and the Orsay Museum, to name just a few. Then, savor the flavors of the city’s amazing food and drink scene with a guided visit and wine tasting tour of a Royal Wine Cellar. To celebrate your time in Paris, head to the legendary Moulin Rouge for a traditional Parisian cabaret act.

Day 5

Enjoy breakfast in Paris, then continue your adventure as you fly from Paris to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, clear customs and immigration, then make your way to your hotel. If you’d like to book a transfer to your hotel, just let us know.

The rest of the day is yours to explore. This afternoon, focus your visit on the iconic landmarks between Palatine Hill and the Spanish Steps. Start with Rome’s greatest architectural wonder, the Colosseum, then head to the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.

Day 6

Wake up early today and head for the Vatican. You may want to purchase a walking tour or ‘skip the line’ ticket to avoid the lengthy queues. Explore one of the world’s most extensive and beautiful art collections, in particular Michelangelo’s ‘Creation of Adam’ in the Sistine Chapel.

Vatican City is the world’s smallest country, so be sure to head to the post office and send a letter to your loved ones as a reminder of your trip. Make the most of your Roman countryside food & wine tasting excursion today, which takes place in a medieval winery.

Day 7

Spend your final day exploring the Capitoline Museums, three of the oldest in the world, which contain artifacts from the ancient Roman world. In the afternoon, check out some of Rome’s hidden gems such as the Baths of Diocletian, a bathhouse dating back to 300 A.D.

Afterwards, take a stroll down the Tiber River. Cross the river then and explore the local neighborhoods and backstreets in and around Piazza Navona and the Campo de Fiori (flower market). For dinner, there are lots of restaurants in the area and the bars and nightclubs stay crowded until long after midnight.

Your last day in Rome

Sadly, your trip has come to an end. A representative will meet you at your hotel for your transfer to the airport.

Additional Days

Should you wish to add extra days to existing cities/destinations or add new destinations to your pre-designed package, you will be able to do so during the submission process. Note that this will incur additional planning fees per additional day at checkout. Your final package cost will also change depending on how many additional travel components are needed for the extra days.
